Hybridizers and Their Roses

In most art forms the Artists themselves are as well
known as their creations.
Chippendale Furniture, Monet Paintings, Tiffany Glass -
yet amongst Roses the Ladies and Gentlemen who work
countless hours to create them are by and large not well
known.
In an effort to change this
we are proud to begin to assemble a series of short
pages about these folks that includes a brief biography,
some photos and of course their roses. Some names
you may know, some you may not but it doesn't matter,
they all deserve their moment in the sun.
So in the words of the great

It's one of my favorite books involving roses and a must
for any rose library. It's out of print but
